Macross/ Robotech #01

In all the years of watching anime, i started one day to watch an anime called Macross Frontier and i fell in love with it. The animation was very cool, the fighting scenes with all the aliens throwing lasers at the good guys flying ships where thousands of people lived, and the good guys airplanes that threw like 20 missiles while then changing into a airplane robot fighter that had a gun that shot laser bullets very rapidly like a machine gun and i thought that was awesome... The thing got me into the anime more was that in the show they're were 2 main girl characters that sang in the whole anime and their songs affected the aliens and battles outcomes and the songs were very cool, you just have to listen to them to know how awesome they were. Later I found out that this anime was first made in the 1980's and Macross Frontier was like a continuation of bigger anime SAGA that i didn't even know... Im currently watching the other sagas that i missed, and will talk more about it in a another post.

MOTIVATION

One question for everyone is do you get motivated by watching anime?
For me the answer is definitely YES. I said yes, because one of the anime i was watching was "Hajime no Ippo" and that is a great anime of boxing and comedy related.
Since watching this anime it showed how the 2 main characters as boxers have to train hard to get in shape for the boxing fight, by punching bags and running A LOT everyday to last longer in the fighting matches, so it always motivated me to run a lot and i ran 4 miles everyday for 4 months and i kinda stopped because it became to cold to run outside hehehe... Anyways i was kinda looking forward to get into a boxing club, but couldn't find one close to my house and then i thought i don't want to be a vegetable if i get hit real bad, and of course the bruises in my face, and i said screw that...
But i got real fast in running and that helped me since i have to be in shape for the ARMY. So in the end anime shows motivates people by many ways like for sports, studies, and love probably... So i think people should not judge people who like anime and give it a try, heck u may start to like it too and get motivated for stuff...

My High School Days #01

I remember my sophomore year the most that's cause that's the one year I was introduced to anime...
It was during lunch and i was hanging out with my friends we ate food real quick for some reason and then one of my friends friend invited us to his house to play video games and he then on his PC started seeing some episodes of "ONE PIECE" but in Japanese and that's what made me curious, and see what it was about since I was hearing something i couldn't understand... Then me and all my friends were saying what cartoon is that, and that made him go kinda nuts saying its not a cartoon and its called anime, I've learned something new mmm... Then i started getting into it more since i like it more than the rest of my friends. I asked him how he got those anime on his PC since he didn't buy the dvd's and he said he downloaded them by Bittorent, and with that program it opened my life with great things...
